Martha’s Vineyard is a stellar place. Whether you come for race
day or plan a 2-week vacation, you’ll love to escape to our Island.
Visitors in February for the 20 Miler will find a quiet place, with warm
fires and windy shores. Tonal vistas of some of nature’s most beautiful
work, and bright cottages lovingly made by man will stick in your memory.
In August, during the 5K, you’re at the peak of summer season with
sparkling waters and long sandy beaches. Towns bustle with activity,
ice cream drips in the sun, and everyone’s happy.

As an Island, you need
to plan a bit to get here. We’re
45 minutes off Cape Cod. You get here by ferry. The steamship authority www.steamshipauthority.com is
your best route. If you plan to bring a car you’ll need a
reservation (508) 477-8600. These can be tough in August—call
well ahead. No reservations are needed for walk on passengers.
For detailed information on getting here visit the Martha’s Vineyard
